As part of our commitment to supporting the growth of the localization movement, we encourage individuals and groups to organize community screenings of The Economics of Happiness. It is our hope that, through these events, the film can be a tool to initiate discussion and inspire local initiatives.
Community screenings tend to be lively, informative and constructive events. Many screenings include panel discussions, brainstorming sessions or talks by representatives from local organizations. We’ve helped organize over 1,000 screenings of The Economics of Happiness and are happy to guide you through the process.
Screening Fee for Public Events
Local Futures will not request a fee for admission-free screenings. However, for events that charge admission, we would appreciate half of the net profit. We list all screenings on our Events Calendar and can also help promote them through our social media network.
Please notify us of all events by contacting us here.
