Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming
USA
The Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming is a non-profit organization sited on 225 acres in New York’s Hudson Valley. Its programs include a farm that uses regenerative methods to produce vegetables and raise livestock; farmer trainings and apprenticeships; a project to make CSA shares accessible to low-income residents; building markets for local grains and other staple crops; connecting farmland-seekers with non-farming landowners, and more. The goal of all of these programs is to support local food in the Hudson Valley region, improve equitable access to healthy local food, and to educate a national audience about the need to regionalize food production.
