The Economics of Happiness explores how we humans can shift direction – environmentally, economically, and spiritually – from a globalized system of exploitation, inequality, and environmental degradation toward local cultures and economies that support renewal, resilience, and human and planetary well-being.

Helena Norberg-Hodge, award winning author and filmmaker, will introduce the film, and after the screening there will be a conversation between Helena and author and anthropologist Jason Hickel – identifying the systemic root causes of our interconnected crises, and key strategic shifts that can help us move towards a new economy.
There will also be time for a Q & A.
This film is for those who know that things need to change and are looking for what is possible.
