Economics of Happiness Conferences
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak we’ve put our
Economics of Happiness conferences and courses for 2020 on hold.
We are working hard to provide more online events instead
(webinars, podcasts, short films etc.)
Every year Local Futures hosts a range of different events both large and small. Our biggest ongoing event series is the Economics of Happiness Conference series. During the conferences, we trigger debate about the negative impacts of economic globalization and explore alternatives towards a more sustainable community-based society.
To date, we have held 24 conferences in 7 different countries. For more information about our Economics of Happiness program, read here. For information about our past conferences, including photos and videso of many inspiring speakers, click here.
