Ewha Woman’s University, Seoul – South Korea
Wednesday, October 7, 2020
Time: 6pm (South Korea)
The Hokma College of General Education in Seoul launched a new program called ‘Life, Cure, Community’ in 2018, with the aim of educating Ewha students to heighten their sensitivity to life and learn to co-exist with nature. As part of this project, an urban community gardening class and an international summer program under the name of ‘Global Urban Life’ has been set up, enabling the students to experience urban social gardening in other countries.
As part of the ‘Life, Cure, Community’ program Helena Norberg-Hodge, founder & director of Local Futures, has been invited to give a special online lecture on October 7 on the topic of:
‘Fork in the Road Post-Covid’
Helena visited the Ewha campus in 2011 for a successful debate session, and the Ewha community is delighted to have her back for this special lecture.
