Johanna Garnett is a PhD Candidate in Peace Studies at UNE in Australia. She has a Bachelor of Social Science and a Masters of Environmental Advocacy. She is a mother, environmentalist and human rights activist who is researching environmental adult education as a tool for socio-ecological transformation - the aim of which is empowered individuals and resilient, local communities.
