As part of our commitment to supporting the growth of the localization movement, we encourage individuals and groups to organize community screenings of The Economics of Happiness film. It is our hope that, through these events, the film can be a tool to initiate discussion and inspire local initiatives. Community screenings tend to be lively, informative and constructive events. Many screenings include panel discussions, potlucks, brainstorming planning sessions or talks by representatives from local organizations.
We’ve helped organize over 1,000 screenings of The Economics of Happiness and are happy to guide you through the process. Below please find a film discussion guide, event organizer kit and downloadable web banners and film posters. We also now offer a free DIY Economics of Happiness Workshop Toolkit.
Screening Fee for Public Events
For large public events we request US$100 per screening plus a portion of ticket sales or collected donations, if admission is by donation.
Individuals, Community & Non-Profit Groups
Realizing that such charges may be prohibitively expensive, we extend a sliding-scale to individuals, community, student and nonprofit groups. If this applies to you or your group, please email [email protected] with a proposal based on what you can afford.
Please notify us of all events by emailing [email protected]
